Special Notes on Monster and it's TP Moves

Dragons are just danger on four legs. Most of the TP moves can be very dangerous.

The Petrification from Petro Eyes is very strong. And can destroy a Blink Tank.

Heavy Stomp's Paralysis is long lasting and procs often. The damage that comes with it is very large.

The same holds for Body Slam. Mages can be one shotted by it.

Nullsong, will take off hundreds of HP from everyone in the party if they are well buffed.

Chaos Blade's Curse can put a tank down quickly.

And the Dragon itself hits hard and often.

Obtaining the Spell
Minimum Blue Mage Level Needed To Acquire Spell: Level 89 with Magus Jubbah equipped, 92 without.

Wind Breath is best hunted in Abyssea - Attohwa.

The spell can be soloed easily by a 95 BLU in Camp #1.

You need a White Mage along to remove Petrification more then any other item or spell for support. Blue Mages Should set one or both Dispells that they have for Thornsong.

Dragon Hunting Grounds Camp #1
Name Level Location
Rift Dragon 85? Abyssea - Attohwa

~

Wind Breath can be learned in Abyssea - Attohwa. There are Seven Rift Dragons in the area marked on the map above. They don't link, but do aggro. They are easy to reach, take the #2 port and head West.

With Buffs the fights are very easy. Pull a dragon, hit it til it uses the spell. The one danger is Petro Eyes, it is a very long lasting petrification, and while with Cruor buffs and abbyssite one should be able to hold out until it wears its very annoying waiting for it to wear off. Fighting with ones back to the Dragon and feeding TP with a low end spell like Foot Kick or such might be a plan.

See the move and hopefully learn.

Dragon Hunting Grounds Camp #2
Name Level Location
Shadow Dragon 53-53 Xarcabard

The Shadow Dragon uses the spell. An easy solo if you can catch it. Your buggest issue will be not killing it too fast. It can be found in the same area as Biast on the map for Camp #3. It will spawn every 30 minutes.

Dragon Hunting Grounds Camp #3
Name Level Location
Biast 70 Xarcabard

Biast Spawns around 10 seconds after the Shadow Dragon is killed, once every 21+ hours. The Shadow Dragons Spawn area is shown on the map above. A Solid level 75 exp party should be able to take the NM, a skilled BLU mage can solo.
