Triumphant
Roar is best
hunted in Beaucedine Glacier [S]
This spell can be hunted starting at learn level IF you have a party of 75 friends. A strong duo can kill the gargouilles. Are special items are needed? Other then a way to sneak and invisible to camp, no.
There is a great camp near the Xarcabard Zone. There are many Gargouille there, with a few imps about also. Reaching the camp requires sneak and invisible if you are walking up from the zone with Batallia Downs or warping in via the Campaign Flagman at H-9. Note that from the tower north to the ramp at H-7 there are several true-sight Tarui about. Be careful. The fights with gargouille are pretty simple, and they are not hard to kill. But since they will not use Triumphant Roar while flying, it can be annoying to see the move. A solid Duo or Trio should be able to handle the monsters. And I'm sure they can be soloed by a skilled sleep/nuker or /NIN. I found that if you pull the Gargouille there is a much higher chance that it will choose to take to the air as it follows you back to a camp. My party went to the mobs and attacked them in place. We saw the move on every monster as a result. So it is suggested that you wade in and fight up on the flats above the ramp at H-7. Note that the Gargouille will aggro sight, and that the imps in the area are not shy about sayign hello with a big ga spell. So be cautious and keep an eye out. When flying the Gargouille will spam Dark Orb. The damage can add up, it's not unlike a dark based version of the fly type mobs cursed sphere. Terror eye's terror is long lasting, but a conal gaze it can be avoided by having a strong yank hold hate and staying away from the monsters front. Bloody claw can hurt! The Drain can be for several hundred HP on top of the damage. Be careful.
