The Behemoth moves can be very nasty. The Damage from Thunderbolt can be high, the damage from Kick out is very very high, Behemoths use the move when the monster is attacked from behind. Try to avoid having any party members attack from the rear. The Knockback from Shock Wave can be very long. |

Thunderbolt is best hunted
in Nyzul
Isle
Investigation.
This spell can be soloed by a level 90 BLU, but a party is needful to reach camp.
There is the chance of fighting an Behemoth on floors 20 and 40 of Nyzul Isle. It's a 1/3 chance as a Admantoise or Dragon can pop also. You'll need a team that can climb the five floors to reach the monster and luck to see it. Any team of 90's that knows Nyzul should have no issues reaching the floor and killing the mob.
There are Behemoth in Limbus. You'll need a small group to get to them. But a solid team of 90's should have no issues reaching and killing them.
Gudanna is a NM that can be popped via the FoV system. For 300 tabs you can buy a Chapter 4 key item which can be used to spawn the mob along with 1000 gil, or you can use 20 beastmen seals, or an augmentable item. His pop location is the Field Parchment located at E-8 in Behemoth's Dominion. Gudanna is an easy solo for a level 90 BLU. In fact he is a bit too easy. With only 2500 hp it's very simple to kill him by accident. One should fight unlocked, with no weapon engaged. Casting Dia or Bio over and over to feed TP is the best way to get him to use his moves. Which leads us to another problem. Gudanna picks two of the six possible TP moves to use each spawn. He will use no others. So you have a 1:3 chance of getting Thunderbolt. If you see two other moves, he's not going to use it. You can fight the mob once per game day on your own tabs, and as many times as you like in party with other players.
The Guardian Behemoth can be one of three possible boss pops for a Voucher 5 run of Maze Mongers. In this voucher you need to train a goblin up to fight the boss. It has not been confirmed one can learn in this camp.
Thunderbolt can be learned in Campaign. You must be part of the party or aliance that gets the kill shot on the mob to learn. The Kaiser Behomoth only comes to some battles in which the Kindred are attacking. Northland battles have a higher chance of seeing him.
There are Behomoth all around the planet. Most of them need many pop items, that can be annoying to gather. These are not the best choices for spell hunting but can work if you find the chance. |
