Obtaining the Spell
Minimum Blue Mage Level Needed To Acquire Spell: Level 6
Healing Breeze is best hunted in Tahrongi Canyon.

This spell can be soloed starting at level 15. No party is needed for the Tahrongi camp, though a Small one can help if you choose to hunt the spell sooner.

Echo Drops to deal with Cold Stare. Be sure to set Cocoon.

Dhalmel Hunting Grounds Camp #1
Name Level Location
Wild Dhalmel 14-16 Tahrongi Canyon

Head to the north half of Tahrongi Canyon. There are many Wild Dhalmel here that you can hunt. You should be able to solo the Dhamels here starting at level 15.

If the Dhalmel uses Sonic wave during your fight, use Cocoon to over write it as soon as you can. The increased damage you will take from the Defense Down can kill you.

There are Goblins and Yagudo in the area that can aggro. Take care.

~~~
In the area marked as Camp A on the map above, you can hunt for the spell with little worry of aggro. Between the trail and a stand-alone section of rock at least two Dhamels spawn. All of the agro is across the path, on the stepped area heading to the stone monument, or on the other side of the stand-alone rock section. So hunting here can be stress free.
Dhalmel Hunting Grounds Camp #2
Name Level Location
Bull Dhalmel 20-23 Buburimu Peninsula
Your Targets are in the center of of Buburimu Peninsula. You should be able to solo the Dhamels here starting in the low 20's. Note that the Goblins in the area will aggro. Take care.
Dhalmel Hunting Grounds Camp #3
Name Level Location
Marine Dhalmel 33-37 Bibiki Bay
Desert Dhalmel 39-44 Eastern Altepa Desert
Desert Dhalmel 44-48 Western Altepa Desert
Catoblepas 76-80 Bibiki Bay
There are other higher level Dhamel class monsters all over the world. Many will require a party, or skilled help to kill. With so many easy low level options in camps #1 and #2, they are not recommended.
Special notes about the spell a Blue Mage may like to know
Can I solo it? Yes. Starting at level 15.
Do I need any special items? Yes, Be sure to have Echo Drops.
Do Dhamel like to use the move? They have many other moves they seem to like better, and this one seems to be a low priority. It can take some time to see.
Many Blue Mages Report a lot of difficulty in learning this spell, even with many viewings. It seems to be one that is more difficult to learn for some reason.
The amount healed by the spell increases with more MND and to a lesser extent with more VIT. Having Healing Magic skill from a subjob makes a large difference also. It seems to max out around 230 HP healed with a serious MND build.
Healing Breeze can be paired with Sheep Song to create the Auto Regen Trait.
