On higher level Bees, Final Sting and Sharp Sting can both deal some serious damage. It seems that Final Sting is used most often when the Bee is under 50% of it's HP, but be warned they can still use it even at close to full health. 

On High level Bees, Pollen can restore huge amounts of HP.

 

 

Obtaining the Spell
Minimum Blue Mage Level Needed To Acquire Spell: Level 72 with Magus Jubbah equipped, 75 without.
Final Sting can be gotten from any Bee. You probably want to find one that can survive you beating upon it for a bit to feed TP. 

This is an easy spell to solo. No party is needed.

No special medicines or items needed.

Can I solo it? Yes.
Do I need any special items? No.
Do Bees like to use the move? It's a suicide move, and they don't seem to use it as often as the others, and it much more often seen when the Bee is under 50% HP, though they can use it anytime.
After use the casting BLU will have 1 HP
Final Sting can be paired with Whirl of Rage to create the Zanshin Trait.
