hunted in Abyssea - Uleguerand
This spell can be soloed at 90 with a tiny bit of care. Are special items are needed? Other then a way to sneak and invisible to camp, no.
There is a great camp in Abyssea - Uleguerand. There are many Gargouille there, and safe places to fight them. Zone into Abyssea - Uleguerand and get your time, and Atma/Abyssite buffs, then take the conflux to #8. This will place you in the camp that is circled in red on the above map. There are two nice camps, one is by the conflux, or you can sneak and invisible and move to the ramp that leads down from the area. Both are safe places to fight. The only thing to take care about is an Ice Gefyrst that roams the area. It will aggro to magic use so be aware of it. The Benumbed Vodriga that live here will alternate between standing and flying like all Gargouille, so I suggest pulling flying ones, as it makes for less of a wait when feeding them TP to see the move we want. If the monster lands, you can wait it out until it flys again. But it is annoying. Terror eye's terror is long lasting. Make sure you keep you HP up so you can wait it out if it lands on you. Bloody claw can hurt! The Drain can be for several hundred HP on top of the damage. So once again, don't let your HP sink too low to prevent an unfortunate surprise death. With buffs, soloing the mobs is fairly simple here. Feed TP, keep your HP up, and kill once it uses the spell.
There is a great camp near the Xarcabard Zone. There are many Gargouille there, with a few imps about also. Reaching the camp requires sneak and invisible if you are walking up from the zone with Batallia Downs or warping in via the Campaign Flagman at H-9. Note that from the tower north to the ramp at H-7 there are several true-sight Tarui about. Be careful. The fights with gargouille are pretty simple, and they are not hard to kill. But since they will not use Dark Orb while standing, it can be annoying to see the move. They can be easily soloed by a level 90 BLU. Just mind your MP use. Terror eye's terror is long lasting. Bloody claw can hurt! The Drain can be for several hundred HP on top of the damage. Be careful.
