None of the Opo-opo damage moves are overly horrid if your level is higher then the monster. When close in level Vicious Claw can hurt badly. |

| Blank Gaze
is best hunted in Yuhtunga Jungle.
This spell can be soloed starting in the upper 30's. No party is needed for the Yuhtunga Jungle camp. Eye Drops, Antidotes, and Remedies, are recommended, as the TP status effects can cause trouble. A low damage weapon to feed the monster TP helps. Some Blue Mages believe that if you have a buff up there is a greater chance that Blank Gaze will be used, as it gives the Opo-opo a reason to use the spell. This is unproven.
From the outpost, while facing away from it, drop into the first hole to the left. Exit the small cave and you will be in your camp which covers the F-11 area noted above. When hunting the spell in your upper 30's be aware that Opo-opos can link based on sight. The Sahagin in the area can also aggro. Take care.
There are higher level Opo-opos all about the world, but most will take more work then the Camp #1 Opo's, or are an annoying trip like the Coastal Opo-opos on Purgonorgo Isle. So they are not recommended.

| Do Opo-opos like to use the move? They have a lot of moves, so it can take some time to see it. This is not one of their favorites. Be prepared to not always see it over a fight. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
